Terms of Service

Effective 27 August 2026.

These terms govern your use of YakDeploy, operated by Yakware. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, your organisation.

Your account and deployment authority

You must keep credentials secure, give users and API clients only the access they need, and use YakDeploy only with repositories, infrastructure, cloud accounts, and targets you are authorised to control. You are responsible for reviewing deployment processes and approvals before running them.

Customer content and credentials

You retain ownership of source references, configuration, logs, artifacts, and other content you provide. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, transmit, process, and back up that content to operate and secure the service. Runner and cloud credentials remain your responsibility; short-lived credentials and secret references should be used where available.

Acceptable use

You may not use the service to break the law, attack or disrupt systems, bypass access controls, mine cryptocurrency without written agreement, distribute malware, or process content you are not entitled to use. We may suspend access needed to contain an active security or availability risk.

Plans, billing, and cancellation

Published plan limits and prices apply until changed for a future billing period. Paid subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled through the billing portal. Fees already incurred are non-refundable except where law requires otherwise. Downgrades may prevent new resources from being created but do not authorise us to silently delete your content.

Service, backups, and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted operation. You should keep independent copies of source, configuration, artifacts needed for recovery, and target-system backups. Material changes to these terms will be announced before taking effect where practicable.

Warranty and liability

The service is provided as available. To the fullest extent allowed by law, implied warranties are excluded and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Termination and export

You may stop using the service at any time. On termination, export anything you need before the account is deleted. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination continue to apply.
